Evernote, you’re going the wrong way

A wee geek rank about Evernote, an app where you store notes of every description, which I rely on pretty heavily. It’s a key player in my “everything database.” EN has apps for every platform and syncs, so whatever you store in it is available everywhere. They just did a major rewrite of their Mac app, and introduced some significant organizational features… but, incredibly, those settings don’t sync!

That dog don’t hunt. This is a rather disappointing failure that seems to be at odds with the spirit of the tool, and it’s not the only disappointment. For instance, I am pretty sure they still haven’t introduced any new search functionality, desperately needed and much requested by their power users. Evernote is not becoming what I hoped.
