The M1 clones are coming

“Finally”: bootable backups for M1 Macs. It hasn’t been a terrible wait, but it was a notable limitation: there simply wasn’t any way to truly “clone” my M1 MacBook Air, which was disconcerting for a backup junky like me. I have relied heavily on system clones for years, using both Carbon Copy Cloner and Super Duper —great kind of backup, and especially amazing since the advent of snapshots.
