The Monuments Men ★★★☆☆ ∞
I enjoyed it, but I probably shouldn’t have: the script is weak, disjointed and too sanitary. Although the horrors of war are hinted at, and people die, the film somehow still manages to make their mission feel more like a European holiday. I probably enjoyed myself only because I was keenly interested in the history, and because the cast is so likeable and watchable.
