Oddly, that Cohen quote came to me from Afghanistan, from an interesting conversation. Skype is amazing. I fired it up last night and moments later I was talking to an old friend who is working in Afghanistan. Some discretion is required in speaking of this friend: let’s just say that he has been doing some great unspecified work there, at no particular location, for a duration. Talking to him is always one of the most interesting things that can happen to my day.

This quote was pretty much the least interesting thing on his mind, I think.
