These cranks drive me nuts

Score! A researcher held in high regard by therapists who tend to strongly over-interpret the clinical significance of his research has agreed to go on the record with a clear statement supporting my skeptical position, and discouraging further abuse of his work. He’s just as irritated as I am. Cannot tell you how many times I have had this fellow’s name contemptuously hurled in my “face” as an example of a researcher whose studies supposedly prove that I don’t know what I’m talking about. And then that researcher comes to me, says “love your work” and “these cranks drive me nuts” and agrees to be quoted … Sweeeet! High fives!
