Three days of gluttony

What’s the theoretical maximum amount of weight that you can gain in 72 hours of glorious, reckless culinary overindulgence?

The average person burns about 2000 calories per lazy day, and can consume three times that without too much trouble (especially if you drink it), so that’s an excess of 4000 per day for three days, or 12,000 calories that have to go somewhere. A pound of fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So, you can gain about about three or four pounds in three days of gluttony.

Which is consistent with my experience.
