A wonderful Prometheus snark-a-thon ∞
Required reading for anyone who saw and hated Prometheus. Very cathartic for me.
I particularly appreciate how Rothwell skewers the characters' lack of curiosity. Brilliant. He even picked up on a subtler point that particularly enraged me about the film: the archeologist dude's ridiculous petulant depression, when he thinks he won't get to interrogate his makers. Aw. Poor baby. Perhaps the next first discovery of other life in the universe will satisfy?
I would enthusiastically read a full-length, expanded version, covering many more of the inane twists and turns of the story! Of course, the poor author would probably have to re-watch the film to prepare for that, and I wouldn't want a good person to have to suffer through that ... even for a good cause.
